We Are Seeking

Team Gilbert is seeking a Chief of Emerging Technology to lead our organization into the future by developing and implementing a comprehensive emerging technology strategy that transforms how we serve our nearly 293,000 residents. This pivotal leadership role will drive innovation across all Town operations, overseeing our AI strategy, emerging technology, and performance management programs, among other projects. Reporting to an Assistant Town Manager, the Chief of Emerging Technology will serve as a strategic partner across departments, working closely with elected officials, community organizations, academic institutions, and private sector partners to position Gilbert as a national leader in ethical, transparent, and inclusive technology adoption.
