Sr. HVAC Technician - JLL

What this job involves

You'll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial facility. This role requires expertise in air handling equipment, refrigeration systems, chillers, boilers, and electrical systems. You'll ensure all systems function efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Monitor and maintain air handling equipment including filter replacement, differential pressure monitoring, and air balancing
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized refrigeration systems, DX systems, and process / comfort chillers
• Respond to and resolve system alarms during your shift
• Make necessary adjustments to HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and hot water systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Monitor utility substations and manage high voltage switching and load distribution
• Complete routine facility repairs (sheetrock, patching, painting, lock repair)
• Document work completed and manage inventory of materials and refrigerants
• Collaborate with team members on larger maintenance projects
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations

Compensation : $37.50-43 / hr.
