Description :

We are seeking a skilled Technician with experience in PLS-CADD (Power Line Systems – Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) to support the design and analysis of overhead transmission lines. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to produce accurate and efficient transmission line models using PLS-CADD and related software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with transmission line design tools and a solid understanding of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform overhead transmission line design using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related software.
• Generate plan and profile drawings, structure spotting, and conductor sag / tension calculations.
• Assist in line optimization studies and ensure accurate documentation of design outputs.
• Review and verify design compliance with applicable standards such as NESC, ASCE, and IEEE.
• Coordinates with offshore PLS-CADD users to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
