This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Student Assistant assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department / division be interested in scheduling an interview. Position Summary Information

The purpose of this position is to provide students with excellent customer service in the White Library Student Technology Center. This position may require working some nights and / or weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Computer literate with some knowledge of programs and / or software such as Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work extremely patiently with students and the general public.
• Ability to work nights and or weekend shifts.
