Procurement Pricing Specialist (CVG)

POSITION : PROCUREMENT PRICING SPECIALIST LOCATION : CINCINNATI, OH (CVG AIRPORT AREA) SUMMARY The Procurement Pricing Specialist, reporting to the Procurement Manager, is responsible for ensuring that L2 Aviation maintains the most accurate, current, and competitive pricing information in the system from its top vendors on highly utilized parts and components. This position continuously updates and monitors vendors & market pricing. The Procurement Pricing Specialist will conduct strategic analysis to optimize our “Just In Time” internal process by building solid relationships with OEM’s and suppliers. The Procurement Pricing Specialist role involves working closely with our preferred Suppliers, our internal Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services necessary for L2 Aviation manufacturing projects. This position plays a critical role in eliminating delays in quoting and procurement processes. This position will also manage the vendor score card which plays a large role in the “Preferred Supplier” reference. This person will also support special projects involving Procurement by supplying assistance on quoting and purchases when needed. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Vendor Pricing Management Maintain up-to-date vendor pricing for L2’s most frequently used parts and components. Establish and manage recurring vendor communication to capture price changes, lead times, and availability. Ensure accurate entry and updating of pricing information in the company ERP system. Quote Support Provide timely and accurate pricing data to internal teams (Sales, Program Management, Procurement) for quote generation. Collaborate with Sales and Program Management to ensure quotes reflect current vendor pricing and margin requirements. Research alternative vendors or sources when price, lead time, or availability creates challenges. Process Efficiency & Accuracy Monitor vendor contracts and agreements for pricing compliance. Identify discrepancies between vendor quotes, invoices, and system pricing; escalate issues for resolution. Support procurement in mitigating delays by ensuring proactive updates to parts pricing database. Reporting & Analysis Provide periodic pricing trend reports to management. Track vendor pricing fluctuations and identify areas for negotiation or cost savings. Assist Supply Chain leadership with data for strategic sourcing decisions. Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and cost-effective development. Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure production scalability and quality. Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop product launch strategies, materials, and campaigns. Additional Responsibilities Maintain organized and accurate records of vendor communications and pricing updates. Support other supply chain and procurement functions as assigned. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Ensure compliance with L2 Aviation’s quality and regulatory standards. Perform other related duties as may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or pricing support roles. Experience in aviation or aerospace supply chain strongly preferred. Familiarity with ERP / CRM systems and vendor pricing processes. Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and FAA / DOT drug screening requirements. Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to work with vendors and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP / CRM systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments. Primarily office-based at L2 Aviation CVG Campus with regular interaction across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and quality teams. Moderate noise environment with occasional exposure to hangar / manufacturing areas. Requires frequent computer and phone use.
