VP Operations

We are seeking a highly driven and visionary VP of Operations / COO to oversee end-to-end operations, ensure compliance with cGMP standards, and drive continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will play a critical role in scaling the business, optimizing operations, and leading our team to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
• Oversee sterile injectable production processes, ensuring adherence to FDA, cGMP, and quality standards.
• Lead operations planning, including production forecasts, capacity planning, and value stream mapping.
• Drive Operations 4.0 initiatives — leveraging automation, data analytics, and digital tools.
• Manage the operations budget, conduct cost analysis, and provide strategic forecasts.
• Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to align on company goals.
• Develop and maintain supplier, vendor, and partner relationships to strengthen supply chain reliability.
• Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining a safe workplace.
• Represent the company externally, including networking within biotech and securing grants to expand capabilities.
