Job Description :

The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care, enhancing patient experience, ensuring safety, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and execute care plans.

Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge planning, and health promotion.

Ensure patient safety by following hospital standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.

Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Act as charge nurse when assigned; manage resources and support patient flow.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development, and shared decision-making.

Qualifications :

Active NYS RN License (or compact state license).

BLS & ACLS certifications required.

Minimum years of RN experience (Telemetry / Med-Surg preferred).

Travel RN : At least year of travel experience.

EPIC experience strongly preferred.

BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience or BSN enrollment).
