POSITION

Blue Cliff College is seeking a Medical Assistant / EKG & Phlebotomy Instructor Position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing healthcare training to students while adhering to BPSS standards. New York's Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York. The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision is part of the New York State Education Department. The schedule for this position would be 6 : 00 pm to 9 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday with the opportunity for extra hours as well as the potential for a hybrid schedule.

JOB DUTIES

• Teaching the approved BPSS curriculum for the following course subject : "Medical Assistant with EKG and Phlebotomy".
• Keeping immaculate records for each student.
• Working hand in hand with the Director of Education and the Director of Student Services.
• Providing progress checks for students on a regular basis.
• Following and adhering to ABC Training Center rules and guidelines.
• Maintaining all aspects of the classroom.
• Establishing and maintaining a civil, productive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION

In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
