Dietitian (Per Diem)- Ronald Reagan Hospital

The Ronald Reagan Hospital is seeking to hire a Per Diem Dietitian to join the Department of Nutrition. You will provide medical nutrition therapy to our inpatients in specialized areas such as GI, Liver, Renal, Oncology, Cardiology, Organ Transplant, and Critical Care. Responsibilities include :

Assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring and reassessment of patients' nutrition care plan.

Conduct nutritional assessment, diet calculation, and the provision of medical nutrition therapy

Conduct patient education, malnutrition / NFPE.

Provide ongoing education to patient and / or family members

Chart in EPIC and use Computation

This is a

part-time "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours

will vary. May convert to career.

Salary range : $45.98 / hr - $53.63 / hr

Qualifications

Required :

Certification as Registered Dietitian by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.

Excellent computer and customer service skills.

Strong knowledge in malnutrition diagnosing and NFPE

Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Preferred :

• Experience working in an academic setting.
