ATC | Advanced Telemetry Technician

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Advanced Telemetry Technician. This full-time day shift role (0600-1830) involves continuous cardiac monitoring and surveillance of telemetry patients, ensuring timely recognition and reporting of rhythm changes and potentially life-threatening arrhythmias to the nursing staff according to established protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms and physiological parameters with precision.
• Observe, document, and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Identify rhythm abnormalities promptly and communicate concerns to Registered Nurses.
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment effectively.
• Respond swiftly to monitor alarms and emergency situations while maintaining composure.
• Utilize office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, telephones, and computers for documentation and communication.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient monitoring initiation and discontinuation.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper management of patient records.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
