Physicians must hold an active Louisiana license and be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. Job Details Location : Louisiana Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 12 weeks Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 6am-3pm, 10am-8pm, 3pm-12am, 8pm-6am Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions Assess, diagnose, and manage emergent illnesses and injuries Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Adhere to departmental protocols and best practices Additional Information Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC required Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) Will consider new graduates from ABEM-accredited programs Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Proof of CME and case logs from the past 2 years required Residency training in Emergency Medicine preferred Additional documentation such as education diplomas, ECFMG (if applicable), and health attestations required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
