We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant - Construction to support our team at Tarkett Sports Construction-Northwest , a leading expert in construction management services for projects of all sizes. They provide expertise in excavation, grading, and utility installation, while offering a superior customer experience at every stage of the project. Reporting to the President of Benchmark Contracting, the Senior Accountant - Construction oversees financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and insurance programs to support accurate construction project accounting and strategic decision-making, while working on-site at the West Linn, Oregon office.

What you'll do :

• Financial Management & Reporting

Lead all accounting and financial operations, including AP / AR, payroll, job costing, tax compliance, banking, and cash flow.

Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reviews, providing data-driven recommendations to support business and project decisions.

Prepare and submit payment applications, lien waivers, and AR invoices.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, labor / tax laws, and internal controls; support internal and external audits.

Oversee employee master data, benefits programs, and payroll setup to ensure accurate and compliant administration.

What you need for success :

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (CPA preferred).

5+ years of financial management,

Financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
