Parts Manager

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a proper inventory of parts.

Essential Functions

• Order stock and non stock parts that are needed to repair tractors and trailers
• Keep accurate inventory of parts
• Controls inventory needed for forecasted needs
• Check in part orders, tag, and stock parts
• Send and receive shipments, unload semi deliveries, route office paper work
• Order replacement parts and new install kits
• Purchase, stack, and count tires
• Keep on hand The Federal Highway Association (FHWA) inspection forms, decals, tank test decals, tank test date numbers, and distribute to facilities as needed
• Assist with troubleshooting diagnostic problems
• Sell parts to outside customers
• Order and bill for parts to vendor repair facilities
• Ensure accurate pricing and invoicing of orders
