Caregiver in Assisted Living

Glen park Senior Living is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. Glen Park’s mission is to provide quality dignified care and to create a supportive healthy social environment for our residents to thrive in.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for our residents and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities :

Provide support to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, etc.

Assist in serving meals and snacks at designated times.

Participate in and support the Activities Program.

Attend monthly and quarterly in-services offered by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year (eight hours per quarter).

Keep CPR and First Aid training current.

For residents with developmental disabilities :

Align performance with the Program Design.

Undergo specialized training for working with these residents.

Achieve the objectives outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP).

Maintain detailed progress notes towards accomplishing the IPP objectives.

Requirements :

Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance and TB test

CPR / First Aide certification are required upon job offer.
