Team Lead – Certified Medical Assistant

Reports To : Practice Administrator, Berry Health Center

Position Summary

The Team Lead – Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports the daily clinical operations of the Berry Health Center. This position performs all duties of a Certified Medical Assistant while providing leadership, guidance, and training to the clinical team. The Team Lead ensures quality standards, safety compliance, and a positive patient experience while supporting the mission, vision, and values of Premier Physician Network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership and Training

• Performs all duties and responsibilities of a Certified Medical Assistant at a satisfactory or above level.
• Serves as a preceptor for all clinical employees :

Ensures new clinical staff are properly trained in office procedures.

Quality and Patient Care

Conducts audits, monitors and reviews documentation, and supports quality improvement initiatives.

Equipment, Supplies, and Safety

Autoclave

Audits vaccine supplies according to the practice’s established schedule.

Maintains and orders medical supplies, monitors inventory levels, and ensures all clinical equipment is functioning properly.

Serves as the Safety Officer for the Berry Health Center, ensuring a safe and compliant clinical environment.
