SUMMARY
The Project Specialist supports the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) program by driving the timely execution of key projects and initiatives. This role ensures critical tasks are completed on schedule, facilitates coordination across cross‑functional teams, and updates project statuses regularly. The specialist also manages large‑scale meetings involving multiple departments and leadership levels, ensuring team alignment and effective communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
Lead assigned FTTH projects using established methods and procedures.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and baselines.
Monitor progress and manage deviations, escalating issues and driving resolution.
Data & Reporting
Maintain a centralized repository for FTTH program data, including schedules, work breakdowns, and performance metrics.
Analyze and present data in user‑friendly formats to support decision‑making.
Cross‑functional Coordination
Facilitate meetings and conference calls with stakeholders across departments and leadership levels.
Ensure alignment between engineering, build, and order completion teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of telephony experience (FTTH preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization)
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
Understanding of cross‑functional workflows from design to order completion
Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking under tight deadlines
Clear, professional communication and customer service skills
Comfortable engaging with all levels of leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Ability to interpret engineering layouts and terminology.
Experience with Sitetracker, Power BI, and M6 platforms.
