Mental Health Specialist II

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills

Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions

Advocates for resources based on client needs and maintains relationships to monitor emotional and behavioral changes

Required Qualifications

Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Experience in crisis intervention and handling service requests under pressure

Ability to work in a clean, well-lighted environment with moderate noise levels

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs

Part-time availability for 16 hours per week, primarily during night shifts
