Data Pipeline Analyst

Long term contract with potential for full-time conversion)

Location : Onsite 4 days / week in Denver Tech Center, 1 day remote.

About the Role :

Join Charter Communications’ Data Engineering team to build and maintain high-performance data pipelines that power critical business operations. You’ll work on either pipeline architecture or operations, ensuring data flows reliably and efficiently across our systems.

What You’ll Do :

Monitor and troubleshoot daily data jobs to ensure successful completion.
Optimize existing pipelines for speed and efficiency.
Develop new ingestion jobs for emerging data sources.
Investigate and resolve data anomalies.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve team productivity.
Collaborate with architects and operations teams to enhance pipeline design.

What We’re Looking For :

SQL expertise (must-have; heavy usage for analysis and troubleshooting).

Python programming , including experience with PySpark .

Big Data processing using Spark (Scala experience is a plus) and Hadoop.

Cloud experience , preferably AWS (S3, EMR, Athena).

Familiarity with Bash scripting (basic level; Python can substitute).

Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity—beyond just monitoring jobs.

Mobile data experience is a bonus.
