Job Description Overview :

The Receptionist at Prysmian’s North America Headquarters serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. This role is essential in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment while supporting key administrative and operational functions. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and discretion.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

• Answer and transfer incoming calls for the company using a multi-line phone system.
• Greet and assist guests and employees upon arrival and during facility tours.
• Maintain an up-to-date phone directory for corporate and manufacturing locations across North America.
• Manage temporary badge access in alignment with company security protocols.
• Oversee supply orders for the corporate office and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Place purchase orders and coordinate with the mailroom and manufacturing plants to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage vendor services for the corporate location, including scheduling and service tracking.
• Maintain a detailed list of purchase requisitions and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Coordinate conference room bookings and ensure meeting spaces are properly maintained.
• Support general administrative tasks and assist departments as needed.
