Travel Sonographer – Ultrasound / Vascular | Syracuse, NY

Shift : Nights, 4x10s

Schedule : Thursday – Sunday, 8 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Position Overview :

This role requires an experienced sonographer with strong breast ultrasound background due to the complexity of our high-risk patient population. Registration in breast ultrasound is optimal but not required. Must have experience with breast scanning; procedural background in biopsies is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (CHEA / USDOE accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography)

RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB / Gyn – Required

Minimum 2 years scanning experience – Required

Breast ultrasound experience – Required

Biopsy procedural experience – Preferred

Responsibilities :

Perform and communicate diagnostic examinations using sonography

Operate and maintain sonographic equipment; ensure daily Q / A compliance

Manage patient scheduling and lab operations during assigned shifts

Utilize independent judgment to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings

Obtain thorough medical history and communicate results to radiologists
