Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of hospital experience and an active Nevada OT license for an inpatient role serving a diverse patient population.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Role involves evaluating and treating behavioral health patients as needed
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans
  • Document patient assessment and progress accurately
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Candidates must be adaptive to new and changing assignments
  • References from two managers or supervisors from the past 12 months are preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
  • Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number for consideration

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in Nevada required if applicable
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an A.O.T.A. accredited program required, Master's degree highly desired
  • Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based OT experience in the United States
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to work with behavioral health patients
  • CPI certification mandated by the position
