About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head for its Systematic Futures Research and Trading division. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the firm's futures research agenda, leading the development of systematic futures strategies, and ensuring their successful integration into the broader investment framework. This pivotal role requires a seasoned leader with a strong technical background in quantitative research, a deep understanding of global futures markets, and a proven track record in alpha innovation. The Head will oversee the entire process from signal generation to live execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance research scalability, simulation accuracy, and trading system performance. Applicants must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in systematic futures trading. The role demands a leader with a strong analytical and problem-solving skill set, expertise in programming languages such as Python for model research and backtesting, and excellent communication and leadership abilities. The Head will also be tasked with recruiting, mentoring, and developing a team of quantitative researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. The position is highly visible and offers the opportunity to influence multi-asset strategy integration, technology direction, and firmwide performance.
