Are you a detail-driven AP professional with utilities experience? Help keep critical services running across a fast-growing convenience retail network. This is your opportunity to own a vital support function within a dynamic, results-oriented team.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $27.00 / hour
  • Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • Immediate start

ROLE IMPACT

This position ensures the timely and accurate payment of utility-related expenses—directly impacting store operations and vendor relationships across hundreds of locations. Success in this role means preventing service disruptions and maintaining vendor trust while delivering accurate, on-time processing and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and verify high-volume utility invoices (electricity, gas, water, internet, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate coding, approvals, and disbursement timelines
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Support utility-focused month-end closing and reporting tasks
  • Maintain detailed and audit-ready records
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure payment integrity

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • REQUIRED - 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a utilities-focused role
  • Demonstrated expertise handling utility billing processes
  • Strong data entry accuracy and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Accounting software (ERP platforms)
  • PDI (preferred)
  • Vendor portals and invoice reconciliation tools

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in retail, multi-location, or franchise environments
  • Familiarity with high-volume invoice automation tools
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills
