Manager Notes
We are hiring for a new Org within global technology. This is the Technical Product Management (TPM). These roles are all within the e-commerce section. The manager will need Product Managers with a technical background. A development background is helpful. Almost all of them need to be able to understand and participate in technical solutioning and engage with the business partners. We need a mix of both. I will look for someone with an ability to engage with the business partner don't always agree with what is being put forward. To understand the ecosystem and the weakness of the platforms. Participate actively and vocally in these convos. On the technology side I would want them to hold the engineering counterparts responsible for delivery and actively participate in technology solutions.
Deep expertise within mobile apps worked on large scale mobile apps before. How have you implemented AB testing for your app putting in the technology that enables the AB test building the foundation for the mobile app to be great. What is a typical life cycle of an app customer? They should understand this level of experience. When they install the app why do they uninstall it how can we regain more customers through technical solutions? This is a technical role not on the UX aspect of mobile apps. Can have Android or iOS they don't need both. The candidate does not need to have any UX experience for this role.
