Position : Community Manager

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As a Community Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management. You will supervise all on-site staff and operations to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management : screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; conduct ongoing training and performance management; maintain schedules.
• On-site operations : ensure consistency with company policies, lease administration, and maintenance activities; supervise staff and daily operations; manage emergencies as the on-site leader.
• Financial management : work toward maximizing net operating income through cost control and revenue / leasing improvements; develop annual budgets / forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting.
• Strategic leasing management : develop yearly marketing plans, implement leasing strategies, ensure lease signings and documentation, and maintain accurate reporting; address resident complaints and provide retention programs.
• Administrative & maintenance management : ensure accurate reporting, timely submissions, regular property inspections, and efficient resource management; coordinate maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities to ensure quality and expediency.
• On-call responsibility : head emergency team for the property and respond to emergencies in alignment with company guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range : $75,000 per year to $80,000 per year. At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider factors such as skill set, background, certifications, and relevant experience.
