You are an essential asset as an Environmental Technician at Catholic Medical Center (CMC). Your commitment to cleanliness, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment are crucial to our patients' well-being and the smooth operation of our facility.

What You'll Do :

• Execute meticulous cleaning procedures in various areas, including patient rooms, public spaces, offices, and specialized rooms, following established departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning steps such as trash removal, disinfecting, mopping, bathroom cleaning, furniture arrangement, and equipment disinfection to ensure a pristine environment.
• Prepare patient rooms for new admissions by making beds, washing linens, and ensuring rooms are sanitized and ready for occupancy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment, wheelchairs, stretchers, and other essential items throughout the facility.
• Handle window, wall, and blind cleaning tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Stock and organize supplies, ensuring carts are well-equipped for cleaning activities.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment, performing routine checks and maintenance as required.
• Respond promptly to hazardous spills, employing proper safety measures and protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.
