Role Description :

  • This is a  full-time contract position   for a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector located around Detroit, Michigan.
  • The CRT / RT Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections on job sites, utilizing CRT / RT methods as well as various other NDE methods, such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant.
  • The NDE Inspector will also be responsible for creating reports based on inspection findings, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, and collaborating with other team members as needed.

    • Qualifications   Must be qualified and certified to ASNT in the following NDT methods that will be utilized :

  • CRT / RT  (Level II that must hold pervious or applicable certification to ASNT) Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with  CRT / RT : VT, PT, MT, PAUT   (Preferred, not required) Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Proof of classroom and OJT hours (this is a requirement) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe .
