Summary :

Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned shift.

Responsibilities :

Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Effectively manage department technology including bed management programsParticpate with interviewing and selection of new employees.Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments.Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.

Education and Certification Requirements :

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Complexity of Work : Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Work Experience : One (1) of year supervision experience in healthcare or hospitality environment preferred.
