Payroll Specialist

Position Overview :

Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Concord, California. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and requires a professional with HR knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll for up to 175 employees and will find it advantageous to be Spanish-speaking.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and execute payroll processing for up to 175 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, earnings, and other related payroll entries.
• Collaborate with the HR department to integrate payroll and HR functions effectively.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
• Utilize HR knowledge to support other HR-related tasks as needed.
• Spanish-speaking abilities are considered a plus for this role to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
