Duties, Skills & Responsibilities of Position :
Accounting : Experience with or knowledge of accounting principles
Payroll : Experience processing or auditing payroll with use of ADP software
Accounting software : Experience in or knowledge of insurance industry software (AMS 360 preferred)
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Taxes : Experience or knowledge of financial taxes-filing, preparation, and compliance
GAAP Account reconciliation : Experience in the reconciliation of financial records or statements, typically using record comparison methods of analysis
General Ledger Reconciliation : Experience with processing and reconciling the account balances of an organization
General Ledger Accounting : Experience processing the general ledger accounts, revenue, and expenses of an organization
Bank Reconciliation : Skill in or experience with conducting bank reconciliations
Journal Entries : Experience entering individual credits and debits into an organization's accounting system to maintain an accurate and comprehensive record of all financial transactions
Balance Sheet Reconciliation : Skill in or experience with reconciling the financial balances of an organization
Trust Accounting : Skill in or experience with Washington State Department of Insurance trust accounting laws and requirements
