Manager, Player Care

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute onboarding and relocation logistics for new players and staff including essential services like housing transportation schooling and banking.
• Provide ongoing support for to players and their families assisting with acquiring childcare schooling cultural adjustment community integration healthcare and visa documentation.
• Manage language classes process including coordination with the provider and players regarding progress.
• Support Home Match Day operations related to the player families ensuring a welcoming and organized environment that enhances their experience and engagement with the club.
• Manage club-provided housing for First Team and Second Team players including check-ins standards and policies.
• Plan and implement social events such as barbecues birthdays and important club moments.
• Develop strong relationships with players families and internal stakeholders to anticipate needs resolve issues efficiently and provide proactive support.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the player and family experience including streamlining processes introducing new resources and ensuring consistent delivery for high-quality support.

Qualifications :

2 years of experience in player care athlete support or a related field within professional sports or elite youth development.

Previous experience of developing training / activities / workshops for athletes

Knowledge of safeguarding issues SafeSport policies and best practices

Experience supporting the emotional and mental health issues that affect young athletes utilizing medical referrals when applicable.

The base salary for this position is $60000. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified.
