What You'll Do :

Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and / or vendors with inquiries and access procedures.

Carry out security-related procedures according to site-specific policies and protocols.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements :

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
