• We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our growing law firm in Charleston, SC.
• Qualifications :
• 2+ years of experience in litigation, preferably insurance defense.
• Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Responsibilities :
• Handle litigation from initial investigation to the completion of the case.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Hearings, depositions and mediations
• Work closely with client and legal team to develop case strategy
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with clients and industry professionals
