Role Overview :

The Engineering Technicians primary duty is to meet production objectives by conducting special test processes of electronic devices. Responsibilities include administering functional tests along with troubleshooting at a system level down to the component level and maintaining records of the mentioned special test processes. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Perform special test following test specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing
• Set up and perform test with minimal direction using sophisticated equipment - perform analyses and diagnostics of process products computers and test equipment used in systems verification.
• Troubleshoot electronics systems circuit card assemblies to component level with analog digital and microprocessor-based circuits assemblies and test equipment
• Capability in the assembly / dis-assembly of test equipment and product.
• Prescribe rework instructions for products needing repair
• Maintain product test records in quality data tracking system
• Ensure product compliance and quality
• Attend and participate in team meetings
