Job Summary
The Financial Analyst I provides support to financial planning & analysis, management reporting, financial systems, and other functions within the department that will assist management and others in making educated economic decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in budgeting, reporting, analysis, forecasting and similar financial processes
- Assist in processing and reconciling daily transactions between systems, prior periods and supporting documentation
- Assist in maintaining and improving finance department operational processes and internal controls which verify the integrity of IT systems, financial record-keeping processes, and business performance data
- Assist in planning and implementing finance related projects, including developing project plans to monitor and track progress, maintaining project portfolios, serving as the liaison between IT and Finance, and summarizing and / or presenting project status updates and timelines
- Respond to management with accurate and timely reporting, both ad-hoc and on-going, to facilitate communication of the Company's financial performance
- Coordinate and deliver internal and external customers' requests for information
- Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate these with department management
- Complete various projects as assigned by department management to improve functional operations
