Overview- This is a paid apprenticeship model which is a 16-week program that combines related online education through the ASRT, and on the job learning at Corewell Health.- Completion of this program satisfies the ARRT 16-credit Structured Education Requirements for CT.- After successful completion of all 12 modules of the program, participants will receive 16 CE credits and a document from the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) recognizing their achievement.- Program includes requirement for a 1-year commitment as a CT Tech (at a .5 FTE status or higher) with Corewell Health that will begin upon entering a CT Technologist position.QualificationsRequired Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire requiredORCRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board ORCRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required OrCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire requiredScope of work?Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
