Cook Shell Contractors is seeking a driven, experienced, and results-oriented Superintendent to lead our shell construction projects across Florida. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take full ownership of multiple job sites from start to finish.

As Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our field operations—coordinating crews, subcontractors, and materials to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and with uncompromising quality and safety standards. You will travel regularly throughout Palm Beach, Martin, Indian River, and surrounding counties, providing hands-on leadership and ensuring consistent excellence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily construction operations on multiple active projects, ensuring flawless execution.

Provide strong, on-site leadership with regular travel between job sites.

Direct and coordinate subcontractors across all trades to maximize productivity and quality.

Take full responsibility for material procurement and timely delivery to keep projects moving.

Create, manage, and adjust schedules to optimize resources and meet critical deadlines.

Perform regular site inspections to enforce safety standards, quality control, and compliance with building codes.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and field teams—resolving challenges and driving progress.

Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, reports, schedules, and change orders.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across all job sites.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven success as a Superintendent in shell construction or a related discipline.

Expert knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to interpret and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.

Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across Florida.
