1st Shift, Monday-Friday

Temp to hire

Salary - $60K

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design frameworks for a project.

Create detailed design documentation.

Estimate time and costs required to complete project.

Code and test software.

Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.

Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.

Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software.

Aid in the selection of materials for the products.

Develop and maintain work instructions, process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans.

Analyze and maximize efficiency of production processes.

Liaise with customer to ensure correct bill of materials are being used.

Interpret part and assembly drawings.

Develop visual aids to assist operators.

Analyze part usages to determine where parts should be located.

Work with maintenance department to design fixtures and jigs.

Present cost-effective solutions to address opportunities for improvement.

Monitor the addition of new parts to determine the impact on cycle times, floor space, and efficiency.

Periodically conduct internal audits based on an internal audit schedule.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 1 or more years related experience and / or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001 : 2015 or IATF 16949 : 2016.

Experience using statistical analysis to monitor and improve performance required.

Experience working in teams conducting continual improvement or six sigma projects preferred.

Process Engineering : 1 year (Preferred)

License / Certification :

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (Required)

CAD Certification (Preferred)
