Electromechanical Assembler - (WEEKEND SCHEDULE - 3 / 12s Friday-Sunday)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler for a contract-to-hire position. This role involves the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of flight harnesses and avionics systems, with a focus on adhering to industry standards such as IPC / WHMA-A-620 and NASA STD 8739.4. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual acuity, a solid understanding of quality control practices, and experience working within AS9100 standards. Attention to detail, organization, and a proactive work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Shift : Monday–Thursday, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (Overtime as needed on Fridays)

Pay Rate : $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and assembly under a microscope.
• Fabricate flight harnesses using essential tools and test equipment.
• Conduct soldering, crimping, stripping, and assembly of spacecraft harnesses.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections on completed harness builds.
• Interpret wire harness schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Apply quality control methodologies and identify components for harness builds.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform job functions safely and professionally in a cleanroom environment.

Work Environment

The position is based in a cleanroom environment where 80% of work is performed under a microscope. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays. The role may transition to a Friday-Sunday schedule, 6 AM-6 : 30 PM, working 36 hours a week, with compensation for 40 hours. Adherence to cleanroom guidelines is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 / hr.
