POSITION OVERVIEW
Lighthouse Professional Services, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer.
SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in precision machining and low-production aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, quality assurance, and hands-on problem-solving within an ISO 9000-certified environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing process planning and inspection reports for all orders.
- Organize all paperwork, including certifications, process control sheets, inspection reports, and job closeouts.
- Collaborate daily with Production Control to ensure all tooling and process documentation are accurate for operators.
- Develop and implement gage calibration and inspection report systems.
- Troubleshoot various manufacturing processes and address non-conforming materials.
- Design and implement gauging methods as part of an inspection report system.
- Lead major projects aimed at improving key performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
- Perform periodic engineering CAD work using SolidWorks.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
5+ years of experience in precision machining and welded fabrications.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
