Preferably experienced using Veeam Backup and Replication software. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server administration. Understanding of SAN and storage architecture. Knowledge of wireless networking including managing, troubleshooting, and best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cooperative teamwork skills, excellent problem-solving ability, high degree of flexibility as well as the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work. Must be detail-oriented and can identify, prioritize, and complete tasks on deadline. Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Overview : Do you have a passion for IT infrastructure that includes different network technologies, servers, and software? Our client is hiring a System Administrator III for their company’s headquarters in Saint Louis, Missouri. You must have a strong background in networking with a desire to grow your skillset. Proficiency in establishing and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports business operations. A drive to contribute to the design and execution of technology modernization initiatives.
Job Duties :
- Establish and manage the technology infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, operating systems, middleware, and telecommunications).
- Contribute to documenting, monitoring, and maintaining the network infrastructure and improving its posture.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership, business teams, IT, and external vendors.
- Serve as an escalation point to diagnose complex network and server issues, identifying causes and developing remediation strategies.
- Assist the management of the server environment. Tasks include creating new virtual machines, upgrading management software, troubleshooting infrastructure, and closely monitoring resource usage.
- Understand business requirements and effectively design, communicate, and deliver solutions to both technical and business audiences.
- Offer technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers as required.
