We’re looking for a Sr. Application Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and driving technical excellence in power systems and protection schemes. What You’ll Do Lead Complex Projects : Design, configure, test, and execute advanced PCA solutions tailored to customer needs. Drive Innovation : Propose creative enhancements and lead the development of new technical standards. Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Mentor & Train : Support and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise in person and remotely. Be a Safety Champion : Promote Schneider Electric’s Safety-First culture in every aspect of your work. What You Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems. 4+ years of experience in Protection, Control, and Automation projects. Advanced knowledge of : Power systems and protection schemes. Protection relays and relay-based ATO schemes. Testing protocols for feeder, transformer, bus differential, arc flash, and motor protection. Proficiency in communication protocols : Modbus, DNP, IEC. Experience executing complex relay-based ATO schemes over IEC. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.
