Position Summary

Supervises terminal operations, including sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight. Manages the day-to-work workload of dockworkers and ensures terminal activities and procedures are compliant with company and government regulations.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and efficient dock operations for all terminal staff.
• Monitors and evaluates dockworkers to ensure the proper use of dock equipment and procedures.
• Conducts daily inspections to ensure compliance with company, local, federal, and Department of Transportation regulations.
• Educates and trains new and existing dockworkers on safety, performance, customer service, and equipment.
• Runs and analyzes reports with improvement suggestions for terminal operations.
• Ensures all dockworkers maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range : $61,700.00 - $76,200.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
