Job Title : Field Service Technician (FST1)

Department : Field Service

Reports to : Site Manager

FLSA Status : Non-exempt

Position Summary / Job Scope

If you like to make equipment work better, this is the role for you. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll work at customer sites where you are the face of Clean Tech and an integral part of a vibrant and diverse team.

We train our Field Service Technicians to support the technology that the world relies on to ensure clean air. You are a steward of the environment when Centrotherm Abatement Systems perform to their potential. You’ll work beside global customers to install, maintain and upgrade their Centrotherm equipment, delivering world-class support for multimillion-dollar production systems.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated on an hourly (non-exempt) basis. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and / or internship experience. The following skills are valued for success :

• Role modeling safety and attention to detail in following procedural requirements related to the handling of hazardous production materials

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

Performs prescribed maintenance per defined procedures and work instructions.

Assignments are semi-routine and accomplished with supervision from senior FST or appropriate lead / supervisor.
