Job Description
We are seeking applicants for an Accountant role with an excellent company in Thomasville. The Accountant specializes in credit card reconciliations and is responsible for ensuring all credit card transactions are accurately recorded, discrepancies are resolved promptly, and financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies. This role supports the broader accounting team with general ledger maintenance, accounts payable / receivable, and ad hoc reporting, but the primary focus is on monthly credit card reconciliation and related process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Investigate and resolve any variances between credit card statements and internal records
- Assign and maintain accurate job codes for all project-related expenses, ensuring proper allocation and tracking of costs
- Process invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management
- Support intercompany accounting, including recording, reconciling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with accounts payable and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues
- Maintain organized documentation for all reconciliation activities and support audit processes

Pay Details : $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
