Job Description :

Our client located in the Springfield, MA area has an immediate opening for a Back End Developer to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Back-End Development (Java & Integration)
  • Develop and maintain Java-based Back-End applications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate Oracle SQL databases with Java applications.
  • Work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC for database connectivity.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, project team.
  • Document workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile development processes

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL / SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions).
  • Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC) for Back-End development.
  • Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration with databases.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Understanding of Linux / Unix environments and basic shell scripting
