Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant with experience in inpatient and intensive outpatient care for a full-time position.

We offer a dynamic, supportive work environment with a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to patients in our Adult Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency Treatment Program .

As a leader in behavioral health, Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is dedicated to delivering comprehensive psychiatric care through our inpatient and partial hospitalization programs . Our team of experienced professionals is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

Position Overview :

The ideal candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and a passion for delivering compassionate care.

Physician Assistant responsibilities will include :

Conducting admission evaluations
Providing daily patient care
Treatment team meetings
On call duties

Our collaborative team environment ensures ample clinical and administrative support .

We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure, and a robust benefits package. There is also the potential to work as an independent contractor if preferred.

Qualifications :

PA degree from an accredited program (MPAS required)

Board certification

Licensure to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain VA medical license)

Experience in inpatient or IOP psychiatric care preferred

Ability to meet all credentialing criteria for participating providers
