LINUX Systems Administrator Senior

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Unix / Linux / Sun / Solaris
Red Hat System Administration
Knowledge of Red Hat Open Stack
PERL Scripting
Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
Maintain daily operation and incident resolution of virtual machines, operating systems, and applications to provide optimum performance and system availability
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents detected during monitoring, by other technical teams, and by users
Provide Tier 2 or 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment
Install, rebuild, configure, maintain, administer, and document UNIX and Linux systems, software, systems-related products, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks on systems for proactive monitoring such as space usage, deleting log files, dump files, and error correcting
Create, document, and implement repeatable processes to install, test, upgrade, maintain, and patch system environments and its software
Develop, recommend, document, implement, and maintain system management policies, procedures, and standards
Create, modify, delete, and document user accounts
Complete and maintain DISA STIGs
Have the desire and aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education : BA / BS or equivalent experience

Certification : 8570 Certification : IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP); AND Computing Environment Certification : RHCSA, Unix+ or equivalent within 6 months of hire

Required Experience : 5+ years of related experience skill sets required

Security Clearance Level : Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance.

Required Skills and Abilities : Red Hat Admin, STIGs

Location : On Customer Site, Fort Huachuca, AZ

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
