Summary :

Our Design Engineer II will create technical drawings in AutoCAD or Revit. Will communicate with clients and vendors to provide appropriate designs based on the requirements presented by the client within the scope of the project contract. Will need to consult with senior staff on advanced aspects of the project. This role will sit onsite in Raleigh, NC.

Essential Functions :

• Draw base floor plans as needed.
• Set up drawing sheets for projects.
• Create technical drawings of PME / FA designs.
• Adhere to drafting standards for consistent documents.
• Make corrections based on red-lined drawings.
• Communicate with clients and vendors.
• Perform site visits to document existing conditions.
• Perform heat loss, heat gain, and ventilation calculations.
• Perform electrical calculations, complete panel schedules NEC demand summaries.
• Provide designs for plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm.
• Other tasks as assigned.
