The position is hybrid working a minimum of 3 days in the office, typically Tuesday through Thursday, with the ability to work from home the remaining workdays. Candidates must be able to travel to plant sites when needed (approx. 6-8 days / month with ability to support longer durations).

Education / Experience / Licensure :

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited university ( required )
• EIT (highly preferred) – or ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment ( required )
• Previous design experience related to modifications in nuclear (DOE or commercial) plants (preferred)
• Experience working with multiple operating nuclear clients and vendors (preferred)
• Ability to obtain unescorted access at an operating or construction nuclear plant ( required )
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, NFPA)
• Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). Additional software skills including Bluebeam, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Vault, Plant3D, Inventor, ReCap, SolidWorks, FARO Scene, and other 3D rendering programs (preferred)
